How do you feel when you reflect on your past self? 💕✌️🙏

Hey friend, let’s take a moment to reflect on Galatians 5:7. After that, let’s chat with God about the things that might be holding us back from living our best lives. 💕✌️🙏

Dear Holy One, in the stillness of this moment, we lift our hearts to You—not in fear, but in longing. We yearn for peace where war has ravaged, for justice where silence has concealed truth, and for healing where grief has taken root.
We mourn the lives lost in Gaza, each soul sacred, each story unfinished. We cry out for the children who hunger, whose futures are dimmed by famine and fire. May compassion stir the hearts of leaders, enabling ceasefires to become peace and recognition to foster reconciliation.
We grieve the violence in our own streets—for those slain in senseless acts, for the families shattered by bullets and brokenness. May Your mercy reach the places our laws cannot, and may love be louder than rage.
We seek wisdom for those who govern, ensuring that decisions made in boardrooms and chambers would honor the dignity of every life. Guide us through economic uncertainty, through policies that confuse more than clarify, through choices that discard what could have saved.
We lament the destruction of care—contraceptives burned while women wait, aid withheld while hope wanes. Let us not be ruled by fear or ideology, but by the sacred call to serve and protect.
As the earth cools and seasons shift, may we find warmth in community and courage in the face of change. For the graduates stepping into a world of closed doors, open new paths, O God. Let their gifts not be wasted, but welcomed.
And in all things, may peace prevail. Not as a whisper, but as a mighty wind that carries justice, mercy, and love to every corner of this aching world. Amen ![]()

Hey friend! Today’s challenge is to take a look at Galatians 5:7. Think about how you can be your own worst enemy. Also, pray about a race you’d love to get back into. 💕✌️🙏

What experiences have shaped your current identity the most?💕✌️🙏

Dear Divine Presence, you who perceive the suffering concealed beneath headlines,
You who bear the weight of every soul in Gaza, Ukraine, and beyond—
We approach You with hearts burdened and eyes wide.
We raise up the children in Gaza, whose hunger surpasses political discourse, whose lives are ensnared between power and silence. May Your mercy pierce through blockades, and may compassion blossom within the hearts of leaders.
We pray for the families making difficult choices about which child to provide with nourishment, for the mothers sacrificing their dignity for survival, and for the fathers bearing the weight of shame in empty pockets. Let justice flow like torrents, and may sustenance and hope be abundant.
We grieve the cries of genocide, not uttered by distant critics but by those within. May truth not be obscured beneath rubble, and may accountability transcend mere whispered prayers.
We extend our support to the people of Ukraine and the leaders who hold timelines and threats. May peace not be a bargaining chip, but a solemn pledge upheld.
We express gratitude for the respite from Medicaid cuts, for the clinics that remain operational, and for the care that persists despite political considerations. May healing be accessible to all, and may compassion guide policy decisions.
We recall the workers silenced by fear, the construction sites emptied by ICE raids. May dignity not hinge upon documentation, and may labor be respected, not pursued.
We extend our prayers to Roy Cooper and all those aspiring to lead. May campaigns be rooted in service, and may elections reflect the will of the people, not the discordant clamor of division.
We extend our support to those ensnared in the covert conflict between Ozempic and eating disorders, whose bodies bear the weight of shame and silence. May healing not be confined to medical interventions but encompass love, understanding, and truth.
Finally, we implore You to grant:
Peace to prevail.
Justice to ascend.
Mercy to flow.
May we not become insensible to the world’s anguish, but be moved to action, prayer, and love. Amen ![]()

Hey Friend! Today’s challenge is to take a look at Colossians 4:2. Think about what areas in your life you feel like God could really guide you in today. If you have a journal, take a few minutes to review it and jot down any prayers that have already been answered. I highly recommend keeping a journal, it’s a great way to track your progress and stay connected to God. 💕✌️🙏

How have you changed as a person in the last few years? 💕✌️🙏

Dear God of Justice and Compassion, amidst the swirling headlines and the hushed human longing, we seek Your guidance. We yearn for clarity in complexity, humility in power, and peace in every corner of the world.
We express gratitude for the easing of tensions between nations, as leaders step back from the precipice of a trade war. May this agreement between the United States and the European Union transcend mere commerce, becoming a beacon of cooperation that underscores the triumph of dialogue over division.
We extend our support to the millions across the eastern United States, struggling to endure relentless heat. May we extend our protection to the vulnerable, the elderly, and the unhoused. May communities rise in solidarity, and may we awaken to our sacred responsibility to steward this Earth with reverence and resolve.
We contemplate the paradox of wealth and conscience—those who, despite their affluence, resist policies that exacerbate inequality. May their voices inspire others to generosity, and may justice not be measured by gain, but by grace.
We celebrate the triumph of England’s Lionesses, who demonstrated to the world that resilience, unity, and courage can overcome even the most formidable challenges. May their victory inspire young hearts globally to dream boldly, live bravely, and uplift one another.
Above all, may peace prevail—in boardrooms and stadiums, in homes and halls of power, in the hearts of those who lead and those who aspire to be heard. May Your wisdom guide us, Your mercy sustain us, and Your love lead us forward. Amen ![]()

Dear Divine Spirit, as we enter this new week with reverence and expectation, we lift up all places of worship—each sanctuary, meetinghouse, and sacred gathering where hearts turn toward You.
We hold in prayer the coming Sunday at the Champaign-Urbana Society of Friends. May the hymn singing at 10:00 AM fill the commons with joy and harmony, reminding us that voices joined in unity can rise above division. As the formal meeting for worship begins at 10:30 AM, we ask that Your presence fill the silence—not with noise, but with depth. May those gathered in person and through Zoom feel the gentle movement of Your spirit, guiding words shared and reflections received.
Bless the time of introductions and announcements at 11:30 AM—may it be rich in connection, in gratitude, and in open-hearted sharing. And though First Day School rests for the summer, we lift up the children in our midst. May they feel the love of their community even in quieter seasons.
We give thanks for the fellowship to follow—simple refreshments, kind conversations, sacred laughter. May every handshake, every shared story, every smile exchanged carry the presence of peace and the warmth of belonging.
Beyond this meeting, we pray for all worship gatherings this week—of every tradition and denomination. May each space become holy ground, each heart an open sanctuary. Let Your wisdom guide, Your love sustain, and Your peace prevail.
May we walk together in unity, serve with purpose, and be blessed with divine success in all we do. Amen 💕✌️🙏
