Dear Gracious and Ever-Present God, we come before You with open hearts, grateful for the sacred spaces where we gather in Your name. From meetinghouses to chapels, temples to mosques, we lift up every place of worship this week, asking for Your presence to fill each gathering with wisdom, love, and peace.
As voices rise in hymns at 10:00 am at Champaign-Urbana Friends Society, may our melodies carry forth joy and devotion, uniting all in praise. As Friends enter into silent worship at 10:30 am, may Your Spirit guide each heart, bringing light to those who share spoken ministry and strengthening the bond of community among those gathered in person and on Zoom.
At 11:30 am, may introductions and announcements remind us of the many hands and hearts that contribute to the life of each faith community. Though First Day School pauses for the summer, we lift our children in the Light, praying for their continued growth and learning, wherever they may be.
May our time of fellowship after worship be rich with kindness and renewal. As Friends gather at noon for Meeting for Worship with a Concern for Business, bless each discussion with discernment and integrity. May all who attend, whether seasoned members or newcomers, feel valued and heard, knowing that their presence strengthens the community.
