We lift up the Champaign-Urbana Society of Friends and all who gather this Sunday—those who sing, those who sit in silence, those who speak as led by Your spirit. Let those joining near and far, in the meetinghouse and through technology, feel the closeness of unity, the embrace of divine love, and the peace that surpasses understanding.

Dear Gracious and Sovereign God, we humbly seek Your wisdom, peace, and healing for a world beset by uncertainty and conflict.
As pivotal decisions shape the future of education, public discourse, and governance, we implore for clarity and justice. May leaders be guided not by division but by an unwavering commitment to truth and integrity. May wisdom permeate every policy, and compassion lead the way in every decision that impacts lives and institutions.
We extend our prayers to Europe and the nations grappling with escalating tensions. Where fear threatens peace, let restraint and diplomacy prevail. Protect those in positions of influence, and ensure that solutions are rooted in understanding rather than aggression.
We mourn the loss of life in Philadelphia, offering comfort to the grieving families and communities shaken by violence. May sorrow be soothed, wounds healed, and hearts awakened to the pursuit of reconciliation over harm. May love triumph over hate, and justice restore what has been shattered.
