Dear Eternal Spirit of Light and Love, we give thanks for the sacred spaces—both physical and spiritual—where hearts gather, voices rise, and silence speaks. Bless all places of worship across the world, where people come seeking truth, healing, and communion with You and one another.
We lift up the Champaign-Urbana Society of Friends as they prepare to gather this Sunday. May the hymn singing at 10:00 AM fill the commons with joy and unity, each note a thread weaving us closer together. As the Meeting for Worship begins at 10:30 AM, may the silence be deep and alive, a sanctuary where Your Spirit moves freely among those gathered in person and online. May the spoken ministry that arises be tender, true, and led by Your divine whisper.
As we share introductions and announcements around 11:30 AM, may we recognize the sacred in one another’s presence. Let each name spoken be a reminder that we are not alone, but part of a living, breathing community of grace.
We give thanks for the gift of fellowship, especially on Potluck Sundays. Whether a dish is brought or simply a heart open to connection, may all feel welcome at the table. Let laughter, conversation, and shared nourishment be a reflection of Your abundance.
As we step into the week ahead, may we do so with a profound sense of unity and purpose. Let our words be gentle, our actions rooted in love, and our paths illuminated by divine success. May peace dwell in our homes, courage in our hearts, and compassion in all we do.
In stillness and in song, in solitude and in community— May we walk gently, love boldly, and live as vessels of Your light.
Amen 💕✌️🙏
