Dear Spirit of Peace, as a new week unfolds, we lift up every place where hearts gather in reverence— from the quiet corners of Quaker meetinghouses to the towering steeples and humble sanctuaries where songs rise and silence speaks.
Bless the Champaign-Urbana Society of Friends: May the hymns sung at 10:00 echo with joy, and the Meeting for Worship at 10:30 be a sanctuary of stillness and spirit-led truth. Let each spoken ministry carry light, each moment of silence hold healing.
Even without First Day School, may children feel Your presence in laughter and love. Let fellowship and refreshments nourish not only the body, but the bonds between souls.
As the Business Meeting begins, may discernment flourish, and may all who attend—member or newcomer— feel called, heard, and uplifted.
