Friends, as we step into May 11th, I’m reminded of something devotionals for students often highlight: every day gives us choices, and every choice quietly shapes the story we are writing with our lives.
Some decisions feel small, almost invisible. Others feel heavy, carrying weight we can sense in our spirit. But Scripture teaches that wisdom grows when we pause long enough to think, pray, and seek clarity before we move.
“The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice.” — Proverbs 12:15
Good decisions don’t come from pressure or impulse. They come from:
- a heart anchored in truth
- a mind willing to learn
- a spirit open to God’s leading
- a willingness to slow down before stepping forward
When you choose well, you protect your future. When you choose wisely, you honor the person God is shaping you to become.
Today, let this be your encouragement:
- Choose what builds your character, not what weakens it
- Choose what aligns with your values, not what distracts you
- Choose what brings peace, not regret
- Choose what reflects Christ, not the crowd
You don’t need to have everything figured out. You just need to take the next step with intention, humility, and faith. God meets you in the decision-making process — not after it.
May your choices today be guided by clarity, strengthened by courage, and rooted in grace.
Walk wisely. Walk gently. Walk with God.💕✌️🙏
