Friends, as we step into May 20th, I’m reminded of a truth often emphasized in devotionals for students: your decisions are shaped by the voices you choose to trust. Every day brings information, opinions, and influences that pull at our attention. Some guide us toward clarity; others lead us into confusion. Scripture invites us to pause long enough to discern the difference.
“The discerning heart seeks knowledge, but the mouth of a fool feeds on folly.” — Proverbs 15:14
This verse reminds us that wisdom is not passive. It is intentional. It grows when we choose truth over noise, understanding over impulse, and God’s guidance over the pressure of the moment.
Today, let this be your encouragement:
- Choose information that strengthens your understanding, not your anxiety
- Choose voices that lead you toward peace, not confusion
- Choose actions that reflect integrity, not convenience
- Choose paths that align with God’s heart, not the crowd’s expectations
Good decisions are built on good foundations. And good foundations come from seeking truth, listening carefully, and allowing God to shape your perspective.
You don’t need to have every answer. You simply need to be willing to pause, reflect, and seek wisdom before you move. God honors the heart that desires to choose well.
May your decisions today be thoughtful, grounded, and guided by grace. Walk wisely. Walk gently. Walk with God.💕✌️🙏
