My dear friends, On this July 13th, I’ve been reflecting on how often God invites us to pause, think, and choose wisely — not out of fear, but out of the deep love He has for us. One of the recurring themes in today’s devotion is the call to make decisions that are rooted in truth rather than impulse, emotion, or pressure. It reminds us that wisdom isn’t accidental; it’s intentional. It grows when we slow down long enough to listen.
In a world full of noise, opinions, and quick reactions, sound decisions require illumination, not assumption. They require substantiated information, not speculation. They require us to anchor ourselves in what is true, not just what feels urgent.
When we take time to gather clarity, pray for direction, and weigh the facts, we honor God with our choices. We show Him that we value the life He’s entrusted to us. And we protect ourselves from unnecessary confusion, frustration, and regret.
So today, I encourage you:
- Let God’s light shine on the decisions before you
- Seek understanding before acting
- Ask for wisdom, and trust that He will give it
- Build your choices on truth, not pressure
- Move forward with peace, not panic
May this be a day where your decisions are guided by God’s presence, strengthened by His wisdom, and supported by clear, reliable understanding.
