1. Big Idea
God always sees us, knows what we need, and takes care of us because He loves us.
2. Memory Verse
Matthew 6:26
“Look at the birds… your heavenly Father feeds them.”
Explain:
If God takes care of tiny birds, He will surely take care of you.
3. Story Time: Joseph and His Brothers (Genesis 37–50)
Tell it simply:
• Joseph was a young boy with many brothers.
• His brothers were unkind and sent him far away.
• Joseph felt alone, but God was with him.
• God helped Joseph in Egypt.
• Joseph became a leader who helped many people.
• Later, Joseph said, “God turned something bad into something good.”
Lesson for children:
Even when life feels scary or confusing, God is still working to help us.
4. Three Things Children Can Remember
A. God Sees Me
God knows where you are, how you feel, and what you need.
B. God Helps Me
He gives strength, friends, teachers, parents, and answers to prayer.
C. God Has a Plan for Me
Even when things don’t make sense, God is doing something good.
5. Activity: “God’s Care Hunt”
Ask children to name things God provides:
• Food
• Water
• Clothes
• Friends
• Family
• Teachers
• A safe home
• Sunshine
• Sleep
Let them call out answers.
Say: “All these things show God’s care!”
6. Simple Questions for Discussion
• Who takes care of you every day?
• How does God show His love to you?
• When have you felt scared, and God helped you?
• What good things has God given you this week?
7. Prayer
“Dear God, thank You for seeing us, loving us, and taking care of us. Help us trust You every day. Amen.”
8. Optional Craft
